HFM’s 100th Post & Contest Winner Announced!

Well, here we are. One hundred posts in not quite a year. I couldn’t be any more pleased. It was a rocky start as I found my voice (which is still evolving) and my niche (which will probably always be changing.) And it took some time to settle on a regular posting schedule of Tuesdays and Thursdays. But now I feel like I’m starting to really get the hang of this blogging thing. 😀

And as promised, in honor of this 100th blog post, I will give away a $25 Target gift card. Who couldn’t use a little extra cash with the holidays coming up?

There were a lot of great entries and no way I could have picked one on my own. The random number generator from this website was my saving grace. And so, the winner is:

Random Generator Winner

scrivella’s memory is definitely one that stands outRead what she wrote below:

“Choosing to be He-Man for Halloween and not wanting to wear my costume at the preschool parade because I thought everyone would make fun of me for being a boy. So my poor dad came to the parade to take pictures and there I was in my regular clothes.”

Let there be more He-Mans!!!

And so, I’m very excited to send scrivella a $25 Target gift card. Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment and share their favorite Halloween memories. It was wonderful to read those sweet musings.

It’s been a great 100 posts. Here’s to at least 100 more. 😀

Happy Halloween to those who plan to get spooky tonight! The hubs and I will probably sit around the fire pit and eat candy. Which is not a bad way to spend an evening at all. 🙂
